Let’s discuss personal branding photography since this is one of the aspects of portrait photography about which I am incredibly passionate about.
What exactly is a photo session for personal branding?
A mixture of head shots, “profile” images, environmental portraits, and lifestyle photos that reflect your personality and present you as an expert in your area make up a branding session. It also conveys your interests and what distinguishes your brand from the competition.
For small business owners, entrepreneurs, creatives, and career builders who are highly passionate about developing their own brand, this kind of photography session is ideal. Custom-designed personal branding photo shoots are created based on your brand, your niche, and the target market you’re attempting to reach. I will use my professional knowledge to assist you in visually narrating the story of your brand and the person who created it.
For example, for someone who is a little bit more creative, we will take head shots that are not very professional but instead highlight the subject’s personality and artistic side. I work with a lot of clients who own businesses in the legal, medical, and non-profit fields as well as in the beauty industry, fitness & nutrition, real estate, online marketing, creative arts, finance, coaching, and public speaking.
I like to get to know a new client and their company before we begin working on developing their personal branding portfolio since it helps me plan and picture any content they could require.
When my customers include items that are significant to them in their sessions, I get very excited. Feel free to incorporate elements of your hobbies into your images. Here are a few suggestions for hobbies-based themes that can give your engagement session a unique touch!
When trying to come up with a “theme” for your hobby photo session, keep the following in mind:
Clothing – If you are a huge sports fan, you can dress up in the jerseys of your favorite teams or other team memorabilia. You can coordinate your outfit with the retro motif of your wedding. You can dress the part in your images if you enjoy dressing up and going dancing. Use your wardrobe to showcase your shared interests and pastimes.
Props – The simplest approach to include your hobbies in your session is to bring props. Anything from a guitar to a Scrabble board to your bikes or some paint for a colorful, chaotic session might be included. The alternatives are infinite. You may bring your pets, go boating on the lake, or prepare a picnic.
Location – Thinking about places that are important to you is another method to combine your interests. How did you two meet? He proposed where? What location will host your wedding? The lake, a sports arena, a theater, your preferred park or bar, a hotel, a fair, etc. are all options. Consider the areas you enjoy spending time together. Please feel free to share your thoughts with us; we’re always open to new ones.
